No seriously…a Festival dedicated to Granita?? in Sicily?? Does it really exist or it’s just a dream?
Well, it’s true.
Nivarata is the Sicilian Artisan Granita Festival that inaugurates the summer in Sicily every year.
The festival sees the best Gelato masters of the whole of Italy who, for the occasion, challenge the presence of exceptional guests in the preparation of special Granita to win the “Granita della Anno” (Granita of the year) and the “Don Angelino Prize” contest.
Inside the event, there are also many side activities such as the historical exhibition and visits to the lab.
But Nivarata is above all a quality brand for the Sicilian DOC handcrafted Granita.
Throughout the year, Nivarata participates in events, conferences and fairs to promote Sicilian excellence and the Born in Sicily.
